Genetic Theft, Purity Standards, And Whiteness

The one drop rule has put white people in a precarious position. The one drop rule is an American historical cultural norm. I am not sure about its current status. The one drop rule holds that if anyone has any black blood(ancestry) then that person is a black person.

This has enabled blacks people to engage in a high degree of genetic theft without having to experience reciprocal genetic theft by whites. Genetic theft is when a race acquires some genetic material of another race, the amount of genetic material gained is a small enough amount so that the genetic material of the other race can be assimilated into the gene pool without the racial integrity of the race doing the assimilating being threatened.

Genetic material refers to sperm of the male and ovum of the female.

A question arises, should white people engage in genetic theft of their own and at what point is it a good idea to accept someone into the fold of the white race?

Let us examine the mulatto. The mulatto is half black and half white. The mulatto is technically neither white nor black however believers in the one drop rule would attempt to impose upon a mulatto the status of being a black person. If a mulatto marries a white then their offspring is a quadroon, which is basically a person who is a fourth black and the rest white. If the quadroon marries a white person then the offspring of that union is an octaroon. An octaroon is an eighth black.

His father is an octaroon and his mother is white with american indian ancestry however the article says she is half american indian but that does not mean she is literally half american indian because the parent she has who is a member of an american indian tribe could be a mix of white and american indian too.

It is unlikely his mother is mestizo(half pure american indian and half white), se looks more like a castizo or maybe even someone with less american indian genes than a castizo(castizo is one fourth american indian and the rest white).

The idea of consciously assimilating genetics of other races into the white gene pool is not something I agree with. If genetic theft happens it happens and if it doesn’t happen it doesn’t happen, whether or not it happens is not something people should worry about. Purity standards(the idea that only pure white is real white) definitely do get in the way of assimilating genes of other races into the white gene pool though and it also alienates people with white genes from appreciating their white heritage.

I am against purity standards for a definition of whiteness. I am neither for or against miscegenation, if miscegenation happens it happens and if it doesn’t happen then it doesn’t. It is not a big deal.

However since other races are engaging in genetic theft of whites it makes sense for whites to get rid of purity standards for whiteness so that their is the possible chance of whites engaging in reciprocal genetic theft because otherwise that would put whites in an unfair position with regards to other races. Purity standards unnecessarily restrict the white race thus purity standards are unfair to whites.

This brings us to the question of who is white. If someone looks white then their white.

The set of racial classification listed in the above link has to some implies a sort of hierarchy among the races and racial mixes. However I am not a believer in the existence of any sort of hierarchy among the races and racial mixes. All races and racial mixes are of equal worth. The set of racial classifications though are useful in that they give names to various racial mixes.
